But with around five seconds left, the Nuggets put an end to Minnesota’s momentum with a five-point swing. In the third quarter, both teams were playing at full tilt, with the Timberwolves having a chance to reduce the gap after Nikola Jokic missed time with a foul. However, the Nuggets demonstrated their championship mindset by maintaining the lead into the fourth quarter to win.
