$100,000 to $1 Million Grant

Americans can get a whopping amount between $100,000 to $1 million under a grant by Lowe’s Foundation. This aims to foster a community of tradespeople to build and revitalize homes and communities across the country.

In a published article in The U.S. Sun, the Lowe’s Foundation will provide millions of dollars to help provide training and bolster workforce development to build homes. The foundation was founded in 1957 and has the goal of “helping people realize what’s possible in their communities and their lives.”

Eligibility for the Grant

There are only two criteria to become eligible for the grant. These are the following:

• Community & Technical Colleges: This is a public institution of higher education as defined in Section 101(a) of the Higher Education Act where the associate degree is primarily the highest degree awarded.
  • Foundations that raise private funds on behalf of community and technical colleges can apply
• Community Based Non-Profit Organizations: This is a nonprofit organization with tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
  • Operates in a state, regional or local capacity
  • The Gable Grants program funds national nonprofit organizations by invitation only

Furthermore, communities, technical colleges and community-based nonprofits across the U.S. can apply for the grants being offered from 2023-2028.
