In New Zealand, superannuation refers to the state pension provided to eligible citizens. There are some eligibility criteria based on which qualifying individuals above 65 years of age are given pensions to meet their requirements. The pensionable amount wholly depends on the livelihood, geographical conditions, marital status and the number of years spent in NZ.
New Zealand Superannuation is paid highly to the individual living alone and less to the married couples living together. It aims to provide financial assistance despite replacing the earnings. The amount has been due to the increasing cost of living for the citizens.

New Zealand Superannuation Payment Dates 2024
In relation to payment dates, each year, on every second and fourth Tuesday of every month, the pension is paid. The payment dates are not officially announced for this month, but we can estimate them for the following dates. In 2024, the direct deposit payment to the senior citizens of NZ will be made on the second and fourth Tuesdays.
Previously, the payment was made on 14th February and 28th February to the eligible. So we can estimate from this year it will be the same. The dates from 10 years ago have not changed a bit. Even this year, they will be the same.
