The purpose of the government-managed SSA is to meet the financial needs of US citizens. Individuals receive these benefits under the VA, SSDI, and SSI programmes. These payments are made to the eligible applicants, their dependents (if any), or the surviving family members of the deceased eligible person.
The candidates must meet the requirements set forth by the Social Security Administration (SSA), as only qualified candidates are eligible to receive these bonus benefits.
The SSA was informed in May 2024 that qualified SSI, SSDI, and VA candidates will receive $700 in stimulus checks in May 2024. It is anticipated that eligible persons who submitted their bank information throughout the application process will get the monthly payments via direct deposit, and those who did not will receive the payment.
